DAY 1 - SKOPJE ARRIVAL & SIGHTSEEING       

Welcoming guests on a traditional Macedonian way, transfer to Skopje and accommodation in your hotel. After short break organized sightseeing tour, Skopje story begins from Kale – fortress with beautiful panorama of Skopje centre, river Vardar… Visit the Mustafa Pasha mosque from XV century, follows visit of the church “Holy Savior” with amazing wooden iconostas in unique deep carving technique developed in Macedonia in XIX century. Exploring the old Bazaar with his small handcraft shops, art galleries, coffees, free time... The tour continues in the new part of Skopje trough Stone Bridge, the symbol of the city, we will arrive on Skopje Central Square - famous with huge statue of Alexander the Great with picturesque fountain and monuments of famous Macedonians. Tour continues with visit of Mother Theresa Memorial House, and visit of old Railway station – witness of great earthquake that stroke Skopje in 1963. Transfer with bus to the monastery of “St. Pantelejmon” (10 km) – built in 1164 with famous fresco Lamentation of Christ considered as forerunner of Italian renaissance. Return to hotel. We will organize Dinner in national restaurant. Overnight.  

DAY 2 – SKOPJE – MATKA – TETOVO – ST JOVAN BIGORSKI – OHRID

After breakfast we will leave hotel, on our way to Ohrid first we will visit canyon Matka. Here we will visit “St. Andrea” church, and we will have boat tour in picturesque canyon up to Vrelo cave - listed as one of the top 77 natural sites in the world. We will continue the tour to Tetovo (40 km) where we will visit unique Painted Mosque from XV century and Arabati Baba Tekke. After Tetovo we will travel to the National Park “Mavrovo” and visit the monastery “St. Jovan Bigorski” (67 km) where you can see the gorgeous iconostases made by Petre Filipovic in 19-th century. After that we can see the Debar Lake. We will accommodate in a hotel in Ohrid (80 km). Dinner in a restaurant.

DAY 3 – OHRID 

After breakfast organized walking tour to the old town start from central square, Ohrid Museum – house of Robev family, church of St Sophia from IX century, Roman amphitheater, church of “Holy Virgin Peribleptos” with beautiful frescoes from XIII century. Next stop is Samoil Fortress with splendid view of the valley, tour continues with Plaoshnik, IV century basilica mosaics and st. Clement church, after 300 meters walk we will visit the most photographed spot in Ohrid  - “st Jovan Kaneo” church built on a lake cliff. Lunch in restaurant in the old town. Free time for individual activities. In the evening organized Macedonian Night – traditional dinner with folklore ensemble. 

DAY 4 – OHRID – ST NAUM 

Breakfast, organized Boat Tour to mystical monastery of “St Naum”. Boat cruse next to Lake coast with view to National Park Galichica, to the southern spot on Ohrid lake, sightseeing the monastery and springs of river Black Drim. Lunch. In the afternoon return to Ohrid, dinner in hotel. Overnight.    

DAY 5 – OHRID – KURBINOVO – BRAJCINO - BITOLA

Breakfast in the hotel.  Full day tour sightseeing is the church “St George” (80 km) from 1191 in Kurbinovo,  representing the master piece of Byzantine art especially the fresco “Annunciation”. Our trip goes on to the village Brajcino (15 km) - an ethno village. Next stop is Bitola (30 km) the city of consuls, lunch in a restaurant in the main street Shirok sokak. Accommodation in hotel. Free aftermoon. Dinner in hotel. Overnight. 

DAY 6 - BITOLA – PRILEP 

After breakfast in the hotel we will visit Heraklea - the ancient city built by the Macedonian king Filip II in the IV century B.C. Lunch in pizzeria. Our next stop will be the Museum of Bitola where existed the chamber consecrated to Kemal Ataturk, father of modern Turkey. He finished his high school in this city. Walk through Sirok Sokak - the famous street in Bitola where the most of the foreign consulates in 19-th century were situated. Next sightseeing will be the church “St. Demetrius” built in 1830 and very famous by its iconostas. After that we continue to Prilep (43 km). We will accommodate you in a hotel and dinner in a national restaurant.  

DAY 7 – PRILEP – STOBI – GEVGELIJA

After the breakfast in the hotel we will climb up to the fortress Markovi Kuli above Prilep, visit the church “Holy Archangels “ where we can see the portraits of Macedonian kings from XIV century Volkasin and Marko. We will do walking tour through the old part of Prilep and we will visit the Clock tower from 1858. We will have lunch in a national restaurant. We will continue our trip to Stobi (57 km) the biggest ancient Macedonian city. Baptistery is the main landmark of Stobi, but also Theodosian palace and Episcopal basilica. We will continue the journey and we will go to Gevgelija  and there we will accommodate. Entertainment in Casino. Dinner.

DAY 8 – GEVGELIJA – STRUMICA

After breakfast drive to Strumica where we will visit the monastery “Holy Mother Merciful” in Veljusa, dating from XI century. The most famous fresco here is “Jesus Christ Emanuel” Jesus as a 12 year old boy. The church “St Leonthius” will be our next stop. The place is famous because of the blinding of the 14 000 Samuil’s soldiers. We will have lunch in a national restaurant. We will visit the tallest waterfall in Macedonia with 38 meters, Smolare (32 km). After these moments of nature accommodation in hotel. We will have dinner in restaurant.

DAY 9 STRUMICA – BEROVO

We will have breakfast in hotel and then we will go for Berovo (48 km). We will visit monastery “St. Archangel Michael” and the artificial lake, Berovo. Accommodation in hotel, we will have lunch in a restaurant. Free afternoon in beaftiful natural enviroment. Diner in hotel .

DAY 10  BEROVO – LESNOVO –  KRIVA PALANKA – KUMANOVO – SKOPJE

After breakfast in hotel and we will continue our trip to the monastery “St. Gavril of Lesnovo” near Probistip, which dates from 1341. We will continue to the monastery “St Joakim of Osogovo” in Kriva Palanka (47 km), built in 1854/5 year. We will have lunch in the monastery restaurant. The church “St. George” in Staro Nagoricani (60 km) near Kumanovo which dates from 1311. Here we will see good preserved iconostas and frescoes made by famous painters Mihail and Eutichius. Last place for sightseeing is megalithic observatory Kokino (17 km) dating from 1 800 B.C. In the late night hours will be in Skopje (70 km) and accommodate in hotel.

DAY 11 – SKOPJE

We will have breakfast in the hotel. Check out. Free time for individual shoping or short sightseeing. Departure from Macedonia.
